Organizing training on emergency psychological assistance

Today on April 18, Center for Emergency Situations and Disaster Risk Reduction conducted a work meeting with UN Children’s Fund (UNICEF), National Medical Association, Red Crescent of Kazakhstan about the preparation to five-day training under the International Civil Defense Organization for the specialists-experts of the Committee for Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of providing emergency psychological assistance to the population on the following topics:

Provision of psychological assistance to children and disabled injured during emergency situations

Innovative methods of providing emergency psychological assistance, mental regulation and self-regulation.

During the meeting parties ranked the priorities, reached an agreement on the agenda, involvement of international-level trainers and etc. Also, they highlighted the importance of the planned training for the prepadness and enhancing qualifications of the specialist – experts of CoES MIA RK
