A visit to the Center made by the Minister for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan

On November 10, 2023, as part of the Regional Forum - Meeting of the Heads of Emergency Authorities of Central Asian countries, the Center for Emergency Situations and Disaster Risk Reduction was attended by the Minister for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Major General A. Kuldashev

During the visit, Mr. Kuldashev got acquainted with the Center’s current and future activities in the Central Asian region.

The Head of the Emergency Authorities of the Republic of Uzbekistan thanked the Center for the work carried out to strengthen regional cooperation between the emergency authorities of Central Asian countries, the ongoing projects aimed at reducing the disaster risk in Central Asian countries, and drew attention to the importance of the Regional Forum as a constructive dialogue to discuss the situation in the region and identify the main tasks.

In turn, Mr. Serik Aubakirov assured the minister that the Center highly appreciates his trust and thanked him for the support provided to the Center’s initiatives and the active position of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan in arranging modern events in the region!
