On the Meeting with Representatives of Hunan Beidou Microchip Industry Development Co., Ltd.

A meeting was held at the Center for Emergency Situations and Disaster Risk Reduction (the Center) with a delegation from the Chinese company Hunan Beidou Microchip Industry Development Co., Ltd.

The negotiations were attended by the company’s Executive Director, Mr. Dai Zhigan, and Commercial Director, Mr. Hu Yu.

During the meeting, Director of the Center Jergalbek Ukashev presented information on the Center’s activities, including its key areas of work, ongoing initiatives, and priorities in the fields of emergency prevention and response, disaster risk reduction, and the development of regional cooperation.

The Chinese side presented proposals for the implementation of projects in the field of seismic monitoring and earthquake early warning, including the establishment of a multi-level observation system, the expansion of the seismic station network, the integration of existing infrastructure, and the creation of a centralized platform for data collection and analysis.

Particular attention was paid to the introduction of modern technological solutions, including high-precision equipment, intelligent data processing systems, and rapid alert mechanisms.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their interest in further developing bilateral cooperation aimed at enhancing seismic safety and strengthening capacities in the field of emergency prevention.
