OSCE supports strengthening the technical capacity of the CESDRR

Within the two-year cooperation between CESDRR and OSCE, and based on the successful implementation of the joint project “Improving the methodology and practice of monitoring and assessment of natural disaster risks using innovative information and communication technologies” the OSCE Office in Astana decided to transfer an unmanned aerial vehicle (model DJI Phantom 4 Pro) in order to strengthen the CESDRR capacity for its use for monitoring the potentially hazardous objects, as well as for use in rescue operations.

The CESDRR intends to strengthen further cooperation with the OSCE in the field of disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation.
