The Center acquired the status of an Affiliated Member of the International Civil Defense Organization
On November 24, 2022, during the 25th Session of the General Assembly of the International Civil Defense Organization in Abu Dhabi, 48 Member States supported the proposal to grant the status of an Affiliate Member of the ICDO to the Center.
The transition to a new format of cooperation will significantly strengthen the interaction of the ICDO and the Center in the field of civil defense in order to reduce the risk of disasters, strengthen preparedness and ensure an effective response to emergencies.
In addition, it will allow to build further work and interaction with ICDO in a planned manner and on a systematic basis to increase the capacity of the emergency response services of Central Asian countries.
