The Center and ICDO begin to implement the project on strengthening the capacity of rescue divers of the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan
In May 2021, the Center with the technical and financial support of the International Civil Defence Organization (ICDO) will organize and conduct the two-week advanced training for rescue divers of MES of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The advanced training will be conducted by experienced master trainers from the Academy of Civil Defence of MES of Russia and MES of the Kyrgyz Republic on the basis of the Republican Training Center for rescue divers in Priozersk, Karagandy region, on lake Balkhash.
It is expected, that during the advanced training more than 30 rescue divers of MES of the Republic of Kazakhstan will undergo a theoretical and practical training under the special programme, improve experience, confirm their professional readiness to rescue people in various emergencies at extreme depths and temperatures.
Based on the results of training course the rescue divers of Kazakhstan will receive certificates and qualification documents for divers of 1-2 groups, and most importantly, they will be allowed to train their colleagues-divers as master-trainers.
In addition, within the frame of the project implementation, it is planned to revise and improve current training programs of rescue divers, develop and introduce common training standards of rescue divers of Central Asia for practical use.
