The Center Expands Cooperation in Sustainable Development and Natural Risk Management

On 24 April 2026, within the framework of the Regional Environmental Summit 2026, the Center for Emergency Situations and Disaster Risk Reduction signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Scientific and Educational Center “Green Academy” and the University of Central Asia.

The parties intend to jointly develop and implement activities aimed at exchanging experience in the sustainable development of cities and territories located in areas exposed to natural hazards; integrating AI technologies into research and analysis processes related to public regulation of the use of natural resources; and cooperating to strengthen local capacity by enhancing knowledge and competencies in the fields of decarbonization, climate regulation and investment.
