The Center is developing cooperation with Chinese partners on digital solutions for disaster risk reduction challenges

As part of the Center's three key initiatives, taking into account the needs of emergency agencies of the countries participating in the Agreement on the Establishment of the Center and the recommendations of the Center's Council on the integration of advanced ICT solutions and digital technologies in disaster risk reduction, the Center participated in the presentation of automated monitoring systems. The event, organized by the Chinese company Wise-Energy Industry, was held on January 15, 2025 in Almaty.

During the presentation, specialists from the PRC presented their experience in the field of emergency prevention, monitoring of meteorological and hydrological situation, as well as control of the state of critical facilities on the territory of China. Special attention was paid to the areas of forecasting and early warning.
