The Center is ready to conduct master training on UAV application

In preparation for the CSTO special exercise “Skala-2024”, as well as the meeting of the Coordination Council on Emergency Situations of the CSTO member states in the field of prevention and elimination of consequences of emergencies, and in order to prepare for the upcoming master training on the use of unmanned aviation for emergency management with the participation of NDMA officials of the Central Asian countries, representatives of the Center headed by the Vice-Minister for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Major General Erlan Nurpeisov., visited the training ground “Rock City - Astana”.

During the inspection visit, Vice-Minister Erlan Nurpeisov checked the readiness of the stages of the training ground to conduct a joint exercise of rescue units of the CSTO member states, as well as to receive official delegations headed by the Ministers for Emergency Situations of the CSTO member states. He also gave a number of instructions on the preparation of sites for the master training on the use of unmanned aviation, accommodation and catering for the training participants.

The master training on the use of UAVs for emergency management, with the financial and technical support of the ICDO, is scheduled for September 11-15 2024 on the basis of the training ground “Rock City-Astana” within the framework of the competition on rescue rescue drills “Kazspas - 2024”.

Training ground “Rock City-Astana” is one of the few training grounds in the CIS, universally adapted for all types of rescue work. On the basis of the training ground annually improve their skills canine teams, divers and climbers, practicing piloting skills rescue aviation, as well as operators of unmanned aviation, rescuers from the regions of the country exchange useful information, share experience and rescue technologies.

At the moment, the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan officially confirmed the participation of their representatives in the training.
