The Center participated in the XV International Scientific and Practical Conference

On October 11, 2024, the XV International Scientific and Practical Conference on the topic: "Current issues of fire safety, prevention and elimination of emergency situations" was held at the Malik Gabdullin Civil Defense Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Conference was attended by about 20 scientists from specialized educational institutions of civil defense from Russia, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.

The main objective of the Conference was to discuss a wide range of problematic issues of theoretical and practical nature related to ensuring fire safety, preventing and eliminating emergency situations.

The speakers included Deputy Head of the Fire Protection Department of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, Candidate of Military Sciences, Associate Professor Vasily Grigorievich Polevoy, Head of the All-Russian Order of the Badge of Honor of the Research Institute of Fire Protection of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Andrey Borisovich Sivenkov, Deputy Head of the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Candidate of Technical Sciences Kyazimov Kyazim Tahir oglu, Chairman of the Council of Veterans of the Fire Protection Department named after M. Gabdullin of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Kendebay Zhanabilovich Raimbekov.

At the Conference, the participants discussed the following issues:

- problematic issues in the field of industrial and fire safety;

- development of a system for warning, eliminating emergency situations and civil defense;

- problems of training in the field of civil defense;

based on the results of which they developed scientifically based practical recommendations.

The scientific article "Comparative analysis of the fire hazard of electric vehicles" by the director of GFP Science LLP, PhD in Engineering Dzhumagaliev R.M., in collaboration with the director of the Center, Major General of the Fire Service, PhD in Engineering Aubakirov S.G. and leading researcher of Global Fire Protection LLP, Master of Engineering Sciences Klyshbaev M.B. was sent to the Conference materials (https://cesdrr.org/uploads/docs/2024/sravnitelnyi-analiz.pdf).

A collection of scientific papers on the topics of the Conference was published following the results of the Conference.
