The Director of the Center participated in the 12th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Economic Commission for Europe (ECE) Convention on the Transboundary Effects of Industrial Accidents, held from 29 November to 1 December 2022 in Geneva, Switzerland. - Integration of risks of technological and industrial disasters into DRR policies, plans and programs;
- Development of a joint action plan between riparian countries with harmonized standard operating procedures for accident notification, response and mutual assistance in the Syr Darya basin;
- Development of a concept and introduction of a systemic approach for transboundary disaster risk management, taking into account climate change;
- Development of a Regional Digital Catalogue of Potentially dangerous objects of Central Asian countries Presenting a Threat of Transboundary Emergencies;
- Implementation of activities to establish a regional early warning system on emergencies through partnerships between government, the private sector and other stakeholders;
