The Center presented to the Ministry for Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic, donor agencies, international and non-governmental organizations more than 10 new project proposals in the field of DRR and climate change adaptation for 2021-2023

The Center for Emergency Situations and Disaster Risk Reduction took part in the Disaster Response Coordination Unit Council Meeting and Coordination meeting of MoES with partners.

During the meetings the issues on response and recovery after COVID-19, as well as outcomes of the implementation of mutual international projects in the field of DRR in Kyrgyz Republic in 2020.

During the Coordination meeting of MoES with partners the Center presented to all participants its general activity outcomes from 2016 to 2020 on strengthening regional and international cooperation in the field of disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation.

The Director of the Center presented to the representatives of donor agencies, international and non-governmental organizations the Center’s priorities of the action for 2021-2023 and submitted for consideration more than 10 new Project Proposals in the field of DRR.

At the end of the meeting, the Center called all interested parties to support the Project Proposals, initiated by the Center in order to reduce disaster risk, protect people and territories of Kyrgyzstan from disasters.
