The Center strengthens the cooperation with ICDO

On 7 June 2021 the Deputy Secretary General of the International Civil Defence Organization A. Kudinov and the ICDO International Cooperation Director S. Tashmatova visited the Center and conducted negotiations with the Center’s leadership.

 

During the negotiations the Center’s Director D. Ukashev acquainted the ICDO representatives with Center’s equipment, activities and implementing projects. The issues on technical support in development of documents, regulating actions of rescue services of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan in large-scale and transboundary disasters and further cooperation in the field of civil protection were discussed.

 

Special attention was paid to the successful implementation of the project on capacity building of rescue divers of MES of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

 

At the end of the meeting, the Deputy Secretary General of the International Civil Defence Organization A. Kudinov noted that ICDO considers the Center as crucial regional partner and intend to continue active further cooperation in the field of civil protection. In turn, the Center’s Director D. Ukashev presented the confidence in further fruitful cooperation.
