The Center takes part in a seminar on increasing capability to emergency situations and ensuring industrial safety
From November 13 to 26, 2025, a delegation from the Center, headed by the Acting Director of the Center, D.I. Ukashev, will take part in a seminar on enhancing emergency preparedness and ensuring industrial safety of civil servants within the framework of the One Belt, One Road initiative, organized by the Center for International Cooperation under the Ministry of Emergency Management of the People's Republic of China, with the support of the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, in Beijing, China.
The event brought together government officials and specialists from various sectors of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Tajikistan, Armenia, and Belarus to discuss and exchange experiences in emergency risk management, the application of new monitoring and warning technologies, and fire and industrial safety.
A total of 35 participants attended.
During the seminar, participants will visit a chemical industry training base in the Taixing Economic Development Zone, study construction experience and fire safety measures in densely populated areas in Taizhou, attend the 2025 China International Emergency Management Expo, with a focus on large-scale rescue equipment, mine rescue equipment, and unmanned emergency response equipment, and study the experience and prospects of flood and drought protection.
This event will enhance the capacity to prevent and respond to industrial and fire safety risks and apply best practices in disaster risk reduction in the Central Asian region.
