The goal of the regional program is to improve the management of transboundary climate and natural disaster risks in Central Asia.
At the same time, the Center has been designated as the Program's implementing partner for components II and III.
As part of Component II, it is planned to develop a Concept and Recommendations for the establishment of a regional early warning system for transboundary hydrological disasters.
The objective of Component III is to stimulate the Regional Dialogue to advance the issues of transboundary climate risk management in Central Asia.
Thus, this year GIZ is the main donor for organizing and holding the next Regional Forum-Meeting of the Heads of Emergency Departments of the Central Asian countries.
