The Center took part in the opening of the International rescue all-around competition “Kazkutkaru-2023”
On September 13, 2023, the Center’s employees took part in the opening ceremony of the International Rescue All-Around Competition “Kazkutkaru-2023” under the leadership of the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Major General S.D. Shariphanov. with the participation of Akim of Almaty region Sultangaziev M.E. and heads of emergency services of regions, cities of republican significance, and the capital.
For the first time, rescue units of the Organization of Turkic States - Azerbaijan, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan - will compete in the rescue all-around competition.
In his welcoming speech, the Director of the Center, Mr. Aubakirov S.G. noted the results of the work carried out by the Center in strengthening the capacity of emergency response services in Central Asian countries, and also expressed hope for the development of cooperation, exchange of experience and knowledge between the countries of the Organization of Turkic States in the field of emergency response.
International competitions are held within the framework of the initiative of the Head of State, announced at the extraordinary Summit of the Organization of Turkic States on March 16, 2023 “Disaster Management, Emergency Situations and Humanitarian Assistance.”
In addition, as part of the opening of the competition, the Minister of Emergency Situations took part in a flower-laying ceremony on the rescuers' alley and the opening of a memorial plaque to Colonel Omirkulov Kanat Omirkulovich.
During the event, the Center's employees provided technical support in conducting live broadcasts of demonstration performances of emergency rescue services using the Center's UAVs.
