The seminar in Beijing on strengthening emergency management capacity has concluded.

The Center for International Cooperation under the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the People’s Republic of China, with the support of the Ministry of Commerce of the PRC, successfully held a seminar on strengthening emergency response capabilities and ensuring industrial safety for government officials in Beijing from November 13 to 26, 2025, within the framework of the “Belt and Road” initiative.

Employees of the Center, headed by the Acting Director of the Center, Mr. D. Ukashev, as well as government officials and specialists from various sectors of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Tajikistan, Armenia, and Belarus enhanced their potential in the field of emergency risk management during this event.

A distinctive feature of the seminar was its practical and interactive component.

During the seminar, the participants visited the 2025 China International Emergency Management Exhibition, where they became acquainted with innovative rescue equipment, including unmanned aerial vehicles; visited companies to study industrial safety practices, innovative technologies and equipment for emergency management, including issues related to fire extinguishing and rescue operations in high-altitude, ground-based, large-scale, and chemical environments; studied experience and prospects for protection against floods and droughts; and familiarized themselves with key laboratories of mining management.

The interactive format of the sessions made it possible not only to obtain theoretical knowledge but also to apply it in practice through business simulation activities and case studies.

At the end of the event, all participants received certificates and seminar materials for further use.

During the seminar, the delegation of the Center held a number of official meetings with the leadership of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the PRC, as a result of which agreements were reached on further interaction and cooperation in the framework of joint projects.

One of the upcoming joint activities is the planned organization of an exhibition of Chinese rescue equipment in Almaty in 2026.
