Visit of the delegation of UNDP in Kazakhstan

On September 21, 2022 the working meeting of the Deputy Resident Representative of the UNDP in Kazakhstan Sukhrob Khojimatov with the leadership of the Center was held at the Center for Emergency Situations and Disaster Risk Reduction.

During the working meeting, Mr. Khodjimatov got acquainted with the activities of the Center, strategy and priorities, the results achieved over the years of the Center's existence. Also, the prospects for further cooperation for 2023 were discussed.

In addition, project proposals of Center in disaster risk reduction and adaptation to climate change were presented.

UNDP Deputy Resident Representative in Kazakhstan Mr. Khodzhimatov appreciated the progress of the Center's activities in disaster risk reduction and the Center's comprehensive approach to various disaster risks.
