The Center assisted in organization and conducting XVI World Championship among men and VII World Championship among women in fire and rescue sports
From 31 August to 6 September 2021 under the aegis of the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers, the XVI World Championship among men and VII World Championship among women in fire and rescue sports was conducted in Karaganda city.
The Championship was attended by 14 teams from 9 countries, firefighters-rescuers competed in the ascent of the assault ladder, in overcoming the 100-meter obstacle course, combat deployment and the fire relay 4 x 100 meters.
In the final stage of competition the men’s team of the Republic of Kazakhstan won in combat deployment discipline with a score of 25,55 sec.
The women’s team of the Republic of Kazakhstan took 3th place in “relay 4 x 100 meters”, and also won bronze in “combat deployment”.
According to the championship results, the women’s team of the Republic of Belarus became the world champions in the overall standings among women. National team of Russian Federation took second place. The Czech Republic team closed the top three.

During the organization of the event, the Center provided technical and organizational support, the Center’s specialists made photo and video materials using UAV that will be shared with the Sports Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers of Kazakhstan as soon as it will be processed.
