Trainings with cynological crews and drone operators for teams from Central Asian countries have been launched
On May 15, 2023, at the Rock City - Astana training ground, the grand opening of the first stage of the international collection-seminar "Kazkutkaru - 2023" was held with the participation of the Vice-Minister for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kuldikov M.M., Responsible for the International Center for Monitoring and Coordination of the International Civil Defense Organization (CDO) Ledentsova S.A. and Director of the Center Aubakirov S.G.
The leadership of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the ICDO and the Center launched two master trainings for the canine services of the emergency departments of the Central Asian countries and on the use of UAVs for emergency situations, organized by the Center with the technical and financial support of the ICDO.
During the trainings, 41 dog handlers from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan will undergo theoretical and practical training according to a special program, improve their skills in training service dogs. At the same time, 26 UAV operators from the Central Asian countries will improve their skills and knowledge to apply them in the upcoming international competition for unmanned aerial vehicle crews in the Republic of Belarus.
As Mr. Serik Aubakirov noted in his welcoming speech, “The measures taken by the Center to strengthen the capacity of the emergency response services of the Central Asian countries demonstrate their effectiveness. So, out of 12 canine teams of the emergency departments of the Central Asian countries that participated in rescue operations in Turkey, 5 teams took part in a master training for the canine services of the Central Asian countries on the basis of the Rock City - Astana training ground in September 2022. The grouping of forces of the countries of Central Asia rescued 38 people, recovered the bodies of 682 dead.
